I'm 39+2 and due a sweep at 39+6.

Third baby here and I'm curious what I can do after my sweep to help things moving along!

I've heard pineapple juice is good?

Baby will come when she's ready but is there anything I can do to help!

What helped you?

Walking! If it’s not too painful, I also enjoyed raspberry leaf tea. Orgasms aswell- but I didn’t want DH anywhere near me the last trimester🤣 none of these ever worked I’ve had 6 inductions but I would get little pains when walking and think oooh is this it🤣 good luck! Xxx

I had a sweep and then spent the evening using the breast pump and bouncing on a gym ball, was in labour by the next morning!

Good luck!!

I had a Hollywood wax, 3 jam doughnuts then went into labour few hours later!!!

Walking - lots of it.

Also I'd really research a sweep and only get one if necessary. There's no scientific evidence they work!

Yoga the night before (with some labour 'inducing' positions). Sex in the morning. A walk in the afternoon. Waters broke at 5pm and he was born 12 hours later. He was 3 weeks early!
But ultimately, I think babay will come when they are ready.
I'd had sweeps with my others, didn't work. Was 40+1 with one child and 39+4 with the other (never laboured, had to have elective section in the end)
Good luck!

Almost 39 weeks, feeling some period cramping today and hoping that it's the beginning of something 🤞Not given birth before so can't recognise the signs!
Congratulations everyone who welcomed their babies recently 🥰

I'm sorry, wrong thread!

Im honestly not sure anything does apart from baby deciding. I went +9 which was exactly the same as my mum for her babies and my sister. I was doing everything except having a sweep as i felt the advantages were unproven and there were too many downsides for me personally.

Sorry thats no help at all but force everyone to pamper you and take it easy
