Early pregnant after IVF

Hi all,
wondering if anyone else is very early pregnant after going through ivf and wants to help support each other through these first few weeks?

i am now 5wks +2 pregnant (only taken 1 test scared to take another) and have very few symptoms if any. This is after a FET in May. We did a fresh transfer back in November which unfortunately ended in a mmc in January so feeling extra nervous this time round. Have tried to push back our viability scan as late as possible so it’s on the 6th July when I will hopefully be 8 weeks.

Ivf buddies the next chapter - is a great thread that me and a few lovely ladies are on. We are all going through ivf at different stages as this is our second thread. In the conception section. Come and join us xx

Hi, I think I’m going through something similar. I’m on my second round of ivf, my first round resulted in pregnancy but I had a mmc around 7-8 weeks (viability scan was good at 6 weeks so I didn’t know I’d lost it until a private scan at 11 weeks)

I’m on my second round now and just got my positive just over a week ago. I think I’m currently 5weeks+3 and have my viability scan in 2 weeks time.

I’m so scared, I keep worrying what the results will be and I’m scared to take any more tests in case the line is faint 😩

Have you had hcg bloods? Quite cheap to have the tests done. You'll need two x

Yes my IVF hospital take blood on day 14 (14dpo) they only do one test, then they tell you if you’re pregnant or not and book you in for your viability scan. My levels were 104 at 14dpo. Last time they were 207 but that obviously ended in loss 😔 I have my viability scan booked for 13th July

For peace of mind then (and it's much cheaper if you only need one doing) why not book one. And then you'll see how high your levels have gone

@KG96 oh congratulations on your positive result! I’m sorry to hear about your mmc previous, seems very similar to me but probably even tougher if you had a good 6 week scan last time.

i do think these first few weeks are so tough, my anxiety was very bad. It has eased a little as I got a few more pregnancy symptoms but it’s definitely increasing as I get closer to my scan date.

I think trying to take it one day at a time and just enjoying that for now you are pregnant is the best way. I will keep my fingers crossed for you though and am here if you want to chat more. Xxx
