Hi all, I'm 18 weeks and 5 days and was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind sharing/helping me out.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm feeling baby move, or if it's something else. What did it feel like for you when you first experienced quickening? I know everyone is different, however, I'm driving myself crazy wondering if I'm feeling Bubba moving or not 😅🤣

For the past few weeks, I've noticed pulses that almost feel like being flicked from the inside, it feels like it's happening right above the pubic bone. I think I'm beginning to notice a pattern- I usually feel it after I come home from work in between the hours of 4pm and 6pm (it doesn't happen for the whole two hours, just on and off, and feels like a single flick every couple of minutes or so) and is usually always between the same time frame. I can't say for certain if I've noticed an increase in the sensation over the last few weeks or not, as technically, I'm still quite early to be feeling anything, and this is my first baby.
Anyone experienced something similar and it was indeed baby?
Thank you 😊

I noticed this around the same gestation, it turned into more definite baby movements the week after. Kind of like gas but in the wrong place.

Yes it sounds like it's baby moving! Exactly what I had and about the same time with first baby, had it around 14 weeks with my second!

Definitely sounds like it

Sounds like it to me! Lovely feeling. In the next few weeks you’ll feel more definite kicks.

Oh, how wonderful!

Thank you all for your replies, I really appreciate it! 😁

I suppose they do feel a little like gas bubbles, only singular and more localised to one area 🤭

Sounds like probably baby, yes.

I first noticed something that I thought might be baby at about 18 weeks, and "gas in the wrong place" describes it pretty well. By 20 weeks I was sure.

Sounds like it OP, it’s about the right time.
Very exciting 😊
