8DPO, BFP or EVAP?

Hi! I am 8DPO today and just wondered what symptoms everyone is feeling/what symptoms you had before your BFP!
I started on 5DPO with some mild cramping in my lower stomach and right pelvic area. This lasted about a day and a half. Hoping that may be implantation but im not sure as i had no spotting or anything. 6/7DPO i had a mild headache and slight nausea. Now on 8DPO i am very gassy and feeling sick again. I ran to the toilet to be sick earlier and (tmi) as i bent down to be sick i had a little accident from the other end 😖! Also started today with a sore and slimy throat, probably just hayfever but i have heard this can be a symptom. I have been feeling quite irritable and emotional the past 2 days but nothing different to when AF is coming. I took a boots early detection test yesterday which had a very very faint line, photo attached. Not classing it as a BFP as it could have been an evap line. So i did an FRER this morning with FMU and BFN. It had the slightest line when i really really looked at it but definitely no colour to it so definitely an evap. I am hoping it is just too early and my BFP is right around the corner. Has anyone had similar symptoms and gone on to get a BFP?

I tested this morning too! It's such an addiction haha! BFN also. My period is still 3 days away though so we are not out yet! X

@jadeyjade8 I'm due Thursday.. going to try not to test until then 😂

Decided to try my first response digital, even though I had BFN's on my frer's so I knew it would be negative anyway! But it was my last test and it's literally like an addiction. I couldn't stop myself! Such a waste of a test haha

@jadeyjade8 oh no 🙈 sorry that it's a BFN.. but you've still got time! I've had a bit of spotting start this evening, not feeling positive after being so poorly. I don't think I would have made a very comfy place for a baby these last few days!

@jadeyjade8 still hoping it's an implantation thing but expecting AF to arrive now!

If it's just spotting hopefully it is implantation! 🤞🏻. My AF is due tomorrow. Hoping she stays away x

I just did this and I can see a second line. It's darker in person. However, I'm thinking it may be one of the dreaded cb evap lines. I have some more frer's coming tomorrow x

@jadeyjade8 ahh hopefully a BFP!! 🤞🏻 have you got any cheap tests at home?

I hope so but I'm doubtful. It showed up in the time but then got darker afterwards so I'm thinking an evap. It's hard not to get excited when you see that second line but I'm trying not to. Will try with an FRER when they come tomorrow. I don't have any cheapies at home. I've only got another cb one x

@jadeyjade8 it really is! Let me know what happens tomorrow, hopefully on the day AF is due you'll show positive!

This is it now after a few hours. Definitely an evap I'd say! It's so cruel! They should be banned if they don't work properly x

Not the point of course, but I've never seen those digital first response ones before. Is it just me or does that big capital "NO" feel quite harsh? It just seems worse somehow than seeing "Not pregnant" I don't know why!

There's still time for you - I got negative tests right up until AF was due, then tested when I was a couple of days late and got a positive. Fingers crossed!

Well no sign of AF today however I did a boots early test and BFN. I assume AF is on her way😬🫣

@jadeyjade8 I have read where some people don't test positive until days after AF due. Your still in until AF comes

I hope she doesn't come haha! I've had a mild on and off sharp pain in the bottom of my stomach today. I'm not sure what that means. My period pains are usually more of a warm achy feeling x

@jadeyjade8 I know what you mean.. People often mistake implantation for AF, also when I was pregnant before I got those pains anyway! It's annoying that all the symptoms are so similar!

Ooh right. Yeah it really is annoying. I guess it's just the waiting game now. Is your AF due tomorrow?

@jadeyjade8 Yep! Still can't call it.. not feeling any different now really, but had a tiny bit of spotting today.

I have had just the tiniest bit of pink/orange when I wiped. I don't normally spot before a period it normally just starts but then I don't think I've ever paid as much attention as I have this month haha!
