6 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding for two weeks

I am currently 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and have been bleeding for the past two weeks. I have previously been told I have a cervical ectropian.

It started off light pink, then fresh red and now it is dark brown and occasionally a maroon colour. I haven't passed any clots.

I had a scan last week and they could see a baby but no heartbeat, hospital said it could be too soon to see a heartbeat so I have another scan on Friday.

I am worried what if I am having a miscarriage, does the bleeding turn heavy during miscarriage, I've been experiencing light bleeding.

I'm so nervous.

Hey Hun, my sister miscarried at 6 weeks and myself at 14 weeks. We both bled heavy with clots. My mum bled alot of her pregnancy with me and I'm 27 now xx

Its really too hard to know for definite until you have that scan unfortunately and i know the wait is agonising. Only a couple more days. Bleeding in pregnancy is common though.

Sounds like old blood now. Try not to worry. I bled like a huge period with clots at around 12 weeks and my little one is absolutely fine. I am sure it will be fine.
