Third baby is currently brewing and I’ve been feeling consistent movements from about 18 weeks. My first I definitely felt him from 16 weeks but my second was around 22 weeks as the placenta was nearer the front! Mention to midwife if you’re very worried but I don’t think not feeling much at 17 weeks is uncommon :)

The more babies you have the less you feel as your more stretched lol. I wouldn't be worrying

@LadyJ2023 thats not true. Often you feel movements earlier with consecutive pregnancies.

@Babynumber3xx i felt mine from 14 weeks. But at 17 weeks baby is still small and feeling movement would depend on position and also where the placenta is. I wouldn’t worry, it normal to not feel movement until 24 weeks

I didn’t feel movements till nearly 20 weeks but I had an anterior placenta.

Luckily I had a private 16 week scan so I knew I had an anterior placenta so I was expecting not to feel movements till later than usual.

I felt movement from 18 weeks with my first and was more like 22/23 weeks with this pregnancy and movement has been a lot less prominent in general but everything is looking healthy

Placenta is anterior this time so think that makes a difference

I'm also pregnant with my 3rd and felt movement from around 18 weeks. I think it depends on placenta position because I definitely felt movement sooner in my last pregnancy and this time my placenta has attached anterior.
