Showing really early in second pregnancy!

We found out I was pregnant last week, I’m 4wbut I am bigger that I was last time at 6 months! I know this is probably bloating, but we didn’t really want to announce anything until much later on - has anyone else had this, and if so how did you manage with

I had the same! From 4 weeks I had horrific bloating. At my 8 week appointment my midwife mistook me for another lady who was 8 months. Luckily it was covid and I was able to hide it for the most part. Unfortunately nothing worked to get rid of it, it just eventually became baby.

Struggling with constant vomiting, even water. 4 days now - should I see a doctor, pharmacist or call 111?

I suppose if it doesn’t get any less obvious then we’ll just have to tell people earlier than we’d planned, we’ll see

Not sure if you meant to post on this thread but if you’re still bad then I’d go to a&e, if you’re pregnant especially, (apologies if I’ve assumed incorrectly) you could get dehydrated very easily in this heat!

Yep I showed extremely early with my 2nd and 3rd so I just had to tell people.

Yep, I am now 20 weeks and have been roughly the same size since about week 5, that is to say, pretty big. I wore "hiding the bump" clothes (it was winter and I wore a big hoodie a lot, I think a flow-y dress would do it in supper) and was genuinely surprised when my colleagues were surprised when I told them at 12 weeks. People notice if they are watching for it, but if they are a bit naive about it, they really don't.

Same! Didn't show until about 20mins first time. Second time I was showing as I did the bloody test! However, I ended up putting on less weight over the pregnancy and was less big at the end. Congratulations OP

I am huge this time! I have a picture from 23 weeks last time where I’m wearing leggings and there’s just this little bump starting. This time at 23 weeks I looked like I have a football up my top! The bloating in the first trimester was really bad this time. I remember going away for the weekend to a nice hotel at 8 weeks and it was just a total waste of money, I didn’t enjoy it one bit. I couldn’t even fasten my normal jeans at that stage, I was just so uncomfortable and I ended up going for a bath for hours. I was just miserable. It did get better after 12 weeks in terms of bloating but I’ve been way bigger the whole time. I’m due to get my bump measured at 28 weeks and I’m quite certain they’re going to say I’m too big and need a growth scan
