Early positive or indentation line?

I've never posted here before so very new to me. I've looked around others posts but think it's best I post my own.

I had a VERY positive ovulation test 19th may CD10 making my ovulation day the 20th may.

This Friday I had a faint line on a FRER which would be 6DPO. I thought it was far too early to test but I felt impatient. Will attach the photo. I am now currently 9DPO and due my period in 6 days. I have very short cycles.

Any advice welcome.

Test again to see if any progression in the line. X

@Rainbowbabydust When would be good to retest? I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 12 weeks with my first 8 years ago so I don't really know how all this early testing works. Thanks

I should also add the day before the ovulation test I had ALOT of jelly like discharge that resembled the show when beginning labour. This is what prompted the ovulation test

Honestly, don't do early tests. Wait until you're late. But if you desperately want to do early tests best time is first wee in the morning

allgoodthings84 · 29/05/2023 18:37

If the test above is a proper line then 4 days later the line should be darker so would be clear enough to know it’s a definite line so would test in the morning which would be 4 days later.

cantsleepp · 29/05/2023 19:27

I would definitely test again today, as line would be much stronger now, even without first morning urine.
All my pregnancies have started from really really faint early lines like this so it's entirely possible that you are pregnant!

I have another FRER waiting, should I use the same brand again? Are there any good alternatives incase this is an indent?

If it’s an indent then the new frer tests line won’t be any darker. It should definitely be darker 3 days later if it’s a real positive line.

good luck 😊

@allgoodthings84 Ok Thank-you! I'll do it with FMU tomorrow. I honestly have no idea what it could be. I did feel very car sick driving home today and I never get carsick which was odd for me

Here are some more images of the same test but these are screen shots from a video. Personally in my experience I could never capture evap/indents on video.

Not sure if this is clearer than original photo I used
