Hot tub on cool - safe?

I realise this is about the most precious FTM question to ask...

We bought an inflatable hot tub last year and now the weather is warm, am desperate to use it as a giant paddling pool for cooling down. (Am almost 37 weeks)

It's totally safe to use cool as long as I'm meticulous about checking chlorine levels and not switching on the bubbles, right?

This is the sort of thing I know I'll laugh at one day as obv swimming is recommended (sadly I can't due to PGP) but now I'm second guessing myself!

Without the bubbles and heat it’s just a bath with chlorine, right? And you’re allowed to go swimming, so I can’t see why not.

Pretty sure the bubbles is nothing to worry about. It's the prolonged heat just like a bath that can make you likely to faint especially while pregnant that's all.

My doctor said that when we take hot tub baths for a prolonged time, it increases our core temperature. Essentially we give ourselves a temporary fever, which is not good for the baby.

I don't know about cold temperature.
