Just got back from the midwife and can already feel the panic rising up.
I am 25 weeks and she had a listen to the heart rate. It was clearly initially high as she kept saying she was waiting for it to ‘settle’. Said baby had probably been moving though I didn’t feel anything.
Eventually she said it did settle and recorded it as 157.
Now I’m terrified there’s something wrong and the baby is actually tachycardic.
When I asked she just said baby’s heart rate goes up when they move. But what if she hadn’t been moving and there’s something wrong?
Anyone else had this?
