Clicking noise when baby moves

Im 36.5 weeks pregnant and I’ve noticed there’s like a clicking noise sometimes when the baby is moving?? Like when your knuckles crack or knees cracks kind of noise. Anyone else experience this or know what it is? Keep thinking it’s the sound of waters breaking (but that’s wishful thinking lol!)

It’s when baby moves it displaces the water causes the click. There’s not much room anymore.

I had this, asked my midwife & consultant, they both had no idea and said it can't be anything to worry about as they'd never come across it before. When my baby was born she made that exact same sound when trying to latch! So my theory is that the noise is the baby practicing suckling :)

I have exactly this! I'm 36 weeks now and started feeling it last week. It's like a sound of cracking cartilage when my baby moves, and I can feel the click as well when I place my hands over the area where his legs/feet are... Google says it's not that uncommon and nothing to worry about, but it does feel really weird!

I had this in my pregnancy, I just assumed it was joints popping when he moved, but I have no idea really.
My waters going made more of a ‘pop’ noise 😂

I had that! Not sure what it was but everything was fine.

36 weeks! I've got the Clicking! I've been told it's slopping/sloshing of amniotic fluid, a bit like if you lie down after drinking a large volume makes a slap sound. I think it sounds different to that. Kinda funny! Had it with my first too!

I had it with my first, my midwife said it can be from the baby sucking on their hand and pulling it out. When she was born she used to suck in the back of her hand and pull it away and it made the pop sound so always made sense it was that

I had clicking when pregnant with eldest DD and when she was born one of her fingers was red. She had been sucking her finger whilst in utero!! I have a photo of her when she was minutes old and it's quite noticeable. She carried on and had a very good latch 😂.

Wow, so many of us! In my case I think it feels too loud to be just sucking, and the fact that I can feel something cracking when I place my hands makes me think it's coming from the baby's joints. I'm not really concerned, I just find it very interesting!
