liver probs in pregnancy.

had extra bloods taken yesterday as i am very itchey atm (28 weeks) and my skin feels like its burning at times. consultant said somethign about liver fnction. gotta get the results today, but what is it they are talking about? am hoping it comes back clear and my skin is just extra senstive.

God news Misdee, but please do get the tests re-done nearer to 36 weeks if the itching contiues. Sometimes the itching can occur before the bloods go up. Was this the Bile Acid test that they did or the LFT's?

Now get thee to a doctor for some anti-histamines.

It was the bile acids they were waiting on, they phoned the other hospital to get ther esults wheilst i was there to save me going back tomorrow, and it was a nice 4!

LFt and others all came back fine.

Am off to gps tomorrow for anti histime, creams, and to get my diabetes test strips and needle things put on perscription. oh and a huuuge bottle of gaviscon!
