Is 36 too late for NCT classes to end?

I'm looking to book NCT classes and when I go on NCT.org and put in my due date and location one of the NCT courses the website rates as 'ideal' for my due date would start when I'm 35 weeks 4 days and end at 36 weeks 3 days (it's four sessions over the same week).

This sounds like it's maybe cutting it quite fine? I've heard there's around a 10% chance of babies coming at 36 weeks so wondering if this is mad?

That said when I look for other course dates no others are quite so appealing in terms of the location and spread of dates (for example loads of the earlier ones take out the Aug bank holiday weekend which might be our last chance for a short (UK) break together).

I would just go for these dates if the course appeals the most to you. All of us in my NCT class were between 35 and 38 weeks gestation at the end of our course.

No not mad, sounds completely normal.

You're not considered full term until 37 weeks, unlikely you'll have baby by 36 weeks x

My NCT classs ran until 39 weeks. I missed the last one having DS1 at 38 weeks. No one else did! It's pretty normal.

I would have preferred to take a different class much earlier to give me more time to prepare and consider the info, do further research etc. That said they are a well respected organisation and it obviously works for them
