Should I take anti sickness medication?

I'm pregnant and having vomiting plus stomach acid issues. It's not that bad morning sickness, just pregnancy sickness. I'm 11 weeks.

Should I get some medication to help with the sickness or would the risks outweigh the benefits? I'm already really tired.

I'd say wait a while and decide as the medication they give you for pregnancy sickness is actually also mildly sedating and makes you really tired. So it won't solve any tiredness issues. I had bad hyperemesis until 32 weeks and took it. I definitely feel it was the right choice but just know it has side effects. I hope you feel better soon x

Mine started improving at 12 weeks and now at 14 weeks is almost gone.

If not too bad, I'd hold off, as you may find it soon improves anyway.

I took anti sickness meds as it was so bad I couldn't physically do anything apart from lay in bed which isn't ideal with a full time job and a daughter already. First lot did nothing but second ones helped a little, atleast allowed me to continue on a normal day!

My sickness didn't stop till around 15/16 weeks so I do hope you're on the exit path soon🤞🏼
