Pregnancy after miscarriage but slow progress

Hi everyone,

I unfortunately had a miscarriage about six weeks ago, progressed naturally.

I then ovulated on the 17th April, and got my BFP on Saturday 29th.

my tests are still coming through as very faint, and a clearblue test says 1-2 weeks. I’m fairly sure this could be normal and explained as it’s very early, and is just my anxiety. However, on my previous pregnancy/miscarriage, I had strong lines from the off so I’m not used to these faint lines and I’m concerned it’s a bad sign.

any advice would be appreciated - feel like I’m losing my mind!

I had an early miscarriage and conceived right after (similar timing to you). While the lines on the pregnancy tests got darker initially, they then started getting lighter again after about a week, for about a week. I then had a minor bleed and I was convinced I was having another loss, but my 3 month old is sleeping on my chest right now. I know it’s hard (and I would have ignored this advice in your position!) but try not to keep testing! Day to day, so much can vary with hormone levels, the amount you r drunk etc. Hope it all goes well for you.

Hi again,

thank you so much for your message and sorry for not replying sooner! Can I ask, did you have a slow growth at any point or was the baby growing as expected in early pregnancy? My scan shows slow growth and I’ve had a minor brown bleed - so not sure if it’s happening again
