Hi, I think I am about 7 weeks pregnant, (going off my last period which was on 02/03/23).
A couple of days ago I started having some spotting and vaginal discharge which was brown in colour as well as some mild cramping. As this is my first pregnancy I was worried and went to A&E. I was booked in for an emergency transvaginal ultrasound today.
The gest sac MSD is 10.3 mm, however there was no yolk sac or fetal pole showing, which was alarming. The nurse said she’d expect to see more at this stage of pregnancy.
I have read many posts on mums net and I’m wondering whether I have my dates mixed up. I first did a pregnancy test on 03/04/23 but the line was extremely faint and it wasn’t until the test I did on 14/04/23 that the line became a lot thicker.
The nurse wasn’t very positive in terms of what she saw and I have another scan booked in for 10 days time. Should I be concerned or is this quite common? Do you think I have my dates mixed up? It’s really distressing and I don’t know what to do/think.
