So I went for a scan last Monday and the scan showed 9 weeks exactly. So today I should be 10 weeks , but on the letter they gave me it said 8w+4 , so I should be 9w+3 , do I go by my scan pic from EPU or just my normal dates?

Also is anyone else feeling not pregnant right now at this stage , I shouldn't be complaining , but I've had no sickness , or no cravings at all , is this normal should I be worried? Did anyone else experience this at this stage .

I saw a heartbeat flicker last week , but I feel like things have changed , I keep waking up To myself on my back , which is bad

Can anyone reassure me on this please next scan is in 3 weeks xx

I think they officially use your last period for your dates until your 12 week NHS scan.

I felt the same as you, I had no symptoms or sickness at all, and that remained for my whole pregnancy, I was very lucky! I felt a bit queasy in the evenings at around 14 weeks for about a week but that was it! And try not to stress about waking on your back. As long as you go to sleep on your side. And when the baby is so little it is okay..it’s more for when the baby is big and heavy :)

Was your scan private or nhs? The nhs tend to use your dating from LMP until your 12 week scan when they will date you more accurately.

As for lying in your back that's not a worry at all until you are bigger usually around 20 weeks so don't worry about that. I used to sleep on my stomach until I was about 16 weeks and my little one is a totally perfect 1yo

It was nhs, and she measured me at 9 weeks last Monday , but on the letter it said 8w+4 so I was slightly confused . Oh good I'm glad I just don't feel pregnant lol 😂 I thought I would be showing earlier as it's my 3rd pregnancy . So does that mean I'm 10 weeks today? Xx

I would just go by what date you think is right until you go to your NHS scan, my NHS scan showed me as 6 days behind (but this works out better than LMP for me as I knew I’d be at least a few days behind going by the implantation bleed I had and early EPU scan)

Ok I'll just go by the nhs scan I had last week as not sure on my LMP as i had implant removed and didn't have a period since jt come out . So I'll say I'm 10 weeks so far till my 12 week scan xx

When I had my booking apt with my midwife last week she explained that they will use LMP until your 12 week scan as things can and do change so fast before then so early dates aren't necessarily always correct. Doesn't matter if your scan is nhs or private, until the 12 week scan your EDD will always be listed as LMP. :)
