Can’t sleep with sore ribs

Hi, I’m 33 weeks pregnant and every single night I can’t sleep because of having sore ribs. Been tested for pre eclampsia etc but I’m just very petite and think that’s what causing the pain. Literally driving me up the walls and starting to get headcolds, headaches etc because I’m not sleeping. It’s a constant cycle. Anyone any tips?

I'm sorry I really understand your pain. I'm 5ft1 and really suffered with rib pain during my pregnancy. I was referred for physio which didn't help in the slightest. The only thing I did find that helped was getting up from my chair at work every 10 minutes to have a walk and stretch (desk based job). Also I had a pregnancy pillow which I wrapped around my back when say on the sofa so I could lean back and almost give my back and lungs space to breath. I also used the pregnancy pillow at night in bed as it was the only thing that made me feel comfy. I had the Bbhugme pillow which I would really recommend. It only really ended when I had my baby

You need a pillow fort, gather up as many as you can find and experiment with different positions till you find one that works.

I'd lay on my left side, a pillow between my knees, one under my bump, one in the base of my back a couple under my head and be kind of hugging one.

No idea how my husband fit in the bed but by that point I was past caring to be honest as long as I got some sleep.
