Hi I didn’t actually know my legs and ankles were swollen it was my older Sister who noticed today who I haven’t seen in a couple of months, especially around my knees and ankles and calves I think the fluid is also causing weakness in my legs because the backs of my legs feel really weak I can’t understand why I would have fluid because I sleep with my legs really high with 4 thick pillows under them so sleeping with legs elevated isn’t working anything else I can try because u can’t see my ankles anymore LOL

Do you have anyone willing to give you regular foot and lower leg massages? That might help. Or ask your midwife about trying compression socks.

Have you spoken to your midwife about it? Can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia - give her a call just to rule it out x x

@SunshineAndFizz she would’ve already noticed by now if I had it as get my blood pressure and urine checked at every appointment and it’s always comes up normal xx

It can sometimes present later on, but naturally it's your call if you want to phone your midwife, you obviously know your medical history etc. better than anyone. Best of luck with the swelling x x

Pre-eclampsia can come on quite sudden so i think you're better getting checked
