Hi,

Do you have any recommendations. It will need enough room for all the stuff that goes with a baby and a changing mat.

It will be very well used so needs to be long wearing and sturdy as well as unisex!

Did you guys get anything specific or just an extra large bag.

Budget is decent as it will be used lots.

THanks

The way I saw it, I was going to be carrying it for two years (it now turns out to be three or more, because I'm pregnant again). I was going to do the majority of care and it was unlikely I'd be bothered carrying a change bag AND a handbag.

My work bought (on my "advice", following a suggestion on MN) a Timi and Lesli bag for me. They got the "La Femme" design, because it was so like one of my Lulu Guinness bags. You wouldn't believe how many admiring comments I get on it. Even the owner of a baby shop in my area asked about it, so she could see about stocking them.

DH was a bit iffy, but he can take a rucksack if he's that bothered. The bag has a change mat, space for bottles (if you use them), loads of space in the bag and a mini bag inside for mum's bits and pieces. I LOVE it and it would have been worth every penny, even if I had paid for it myself.
