Too faint? Should I be worried?

I'm 14 dpo, should have started my period yesterday.
I tested positive 10 dpo however I don't think the lines are getting any darker and still seem pretty faint (nervous after 2 previous miscarriages)
Can anyone advise please?

They look fine for 14dpo. Mine was a similar colour at 14dpo on the strip test.

Thanks for the reply, that's reassuring. They don't seem to be getting any darker day by day as I expected but I will keep testing!

They look fine to me.

Hi OP you should not expect to notice changes in your tests day by day, as HCG itself only multiplies every 48hrs. Your tests look fine for 14DPO, the only job the test has is to confirm a yes you’re pregnant or no you’re not. It doesn’t indicate the outcome of a pregnancy. Use red dye tests if possible as these show better. book yourself a private scan at 8weeks to get some piece of mind, as I know 12 weeks can seem such an eternity away. I know the feeling having had 2 previous miscarriages before this pregnancy, Im currently 14+5 and everything was fine at the 12w scan so I’m Wishing you a healthy 9 months ahead and here’s to our rainbow babies x

Hi Ash9420. Thanks so much for the reply. I just thought they should be fairly dark by this stage but I'm probably just overthinking.
Ahh congratulations to you and I hope everything goes well with the rest of the pregnancy 🥰 did you do anything differently this time? I've been on progesterone and aspirin since BFP so fingers cross, so anxious though.

Mine actually got lighter between 11 and 14dpo. I’m now 13 weeks today, baby didn’t stop wriggling last week at the scan.

only Thing I did was ate a bit more healthier and exercised more, put it all to the back of my mind and just carried on living my life, told
myself if it’s meant to be it will one day. Wasn’t actively trying but a much wanted happy surprise. Found out I conceived the day my grandmother passed away we were very close (so I took it as a sign the universe filling my heart with another love) helps me feel better. I know it’s easier said then done but take each day as it comes, today you’re pregnant and that’s all that matters. Good luck
