Impatiently waiting for labour

Hi all , I'm 38+2 with my 2nd baby, 1st baby was born 13 years ago. 2 weeks ago was told baby is 3/5 engaged and the past week I've had loose stools and braxton hicks , last night and this morning I've had a stomach ache (not cramps) and feeling shivery at the same time as having a stomach ache. It lasted for a few minutes then disappeared. Has anyone else had this? Wondering if it's pregnancy related.

Hi, I can’t offer any advice but in a similar position. 38+4 with DC2. Most nights I’ve been waking with diarrhoea and cramps, sometimes they’re more like contractions and other times more like stomach cramps. Always then feel ok in the day. I think it’s just my body gearing up for labour. I’m fed up of waiting now as this has been going on for a while!

I'm 37+6 which is the same point I went into labour with DS1, I'm anxiously awaiting every tiny sign!

@Stressedoutforever Completely get that, I had my son at 38 weeks so 38+4 already feels long even though I know I’ve still got more than a week until due date!

These babies love to keep us waiting! I have a section booked for 39+3 so at least the end is in sight
