Early pregnancy uncomfortable upper stomach

Hi everyone

I'm only 5+3 weeks pregnant and this is my third baby. It's been a long time since I was pregnant with my second and I genuinely can't remember feeling like this so early into pregnancy.

I've popped out already! My upper stomach (underneath boobs) feels hard and very uncomfortable - really uncomfortable!!! Especially after eating. I remember feeling this feeling when I was heavily pregnant with my second.

Is this my stomach moving up already? The exhaustion I feel and now this, I can't wait to get to the seoxns trimester already!! Would appreciate some replies 🙂

Hey, I'm currently on my 2nd baby and early on (about week 5 to week 7) I don't think I ate hardly anything. I had such bad upper stomach pains and feeling absolutely full.
I had some gavisgon on a whim and it seems to have been maybe indigestion or gas as it worked.
Everything does tend to be more bloaty early on.

Thank you for replying. I hadn't thought about trying gaviscon. I think I'll give that a go! I feel so stupid posting this as this is my third baby so I should know 🤦🏼‍♀️

I am 6 weeks and had this most of last week. On 2nd baby even had to wear maternity leggings I was so bloated and uncomfortable in normal clothes and I'm only a size 10. It is a bit better this week x

Glad you're feeling a bit better 🙂 I got rid of my maternity clothes from previous babies and didn't want to buy anything just incase.. (I hate this worry 🙁). but I think I better order some now as I'm living in leggings for comfort.

My husbands headed out to go get some gaviscon for me, I really hope this helps 🤞

I had this a few days ago at the same gestation. Came after eating curry (with lentils) which is apparently a big no no if you get bad bloating! Was in agony. I also think I have a bit of a stomach bug. Bloating gone down now but whole stomach is really tender still. There’s a list of food to avoid if the bloating is bad. My nausea has kicked in now so back on a beige diet! X

It’s definitely bloating. I had it so badly with my second. My stomach was huge from 5 weeks and wouldn’t go down, it just gradually became baby. But I was lucky it was in lockdown as it looked like a huge baby bump from very early on. This time I’m no where near as bad thankfully.
