Hi,
I am currently 21 and apparently 6 + 2. I hope no one judges here but I am planning to have an abortion as I just wouldn’t feel right having a baby currently; I am a uni student and I’m just not mentally well at the moment nor financially prepared plus my parents wouldn’t forgive me. According to my period app I am 6+2 going by the date of my last period as my cycle is regularly around 36 days. I’m not sure if this is accurate therefore, but I found out I was pregnant around 5+5 therefore which I assumed was a couple days after my period was predicted to begin. I had a very strong positive and was showing symptoms a couple weeks before which I was hoping was just PMS. I am a huge hypochondriac and I am terrified before my consultation for my termination that I will be ectopic. I have had a few cramp like sensations which are similar to my period, a mild pain in my pelvis, and some pressure on my right and left abdomen which I wouldn’t consider remotely painful and assumed maybe was to do with a cyst or ‘growing’ pains. I lift at the gym and workout, and I currently have a very mild achey sensation in my arm which I’ve convinced myself is on my shoulder. I’m just very worried I’ll be ectopic and not know, and not have a support system or any help if it does arise. I’ve had no spotting or implantation bleeding. My symptoms are primarily just being tired and a bit of lingering nausea. I was ill from stress/not sleeping a week or so before testing positive and felt worse then with being very tired and flu like. I didn’t relate this to the pregnancy as when I’m stressed I tend to get this ill, but it did make the nausea and other stuff more heightened. As I’ve finally gotten better, I’ve noticed my pregnancy symptoms seem to be fairly mild. I am a huge overthinker and struggle very badly with health anxiety so I can’t stop convincing myself it’s somehow ectopic. My consultation is in two days (Wednesday) and so I hope to request a scan anyway to make sure but I just can’t keep overthinking.

please could anyone who has had an ectopic pregnancy let me know the severity of pain and their own experiences. Sorry this is long but I just can’t stop worrying especially as I wasn’t sure if the sensations I were getting were normal I.e slight pressure on pelvis. Thank you!
