Took Doxycycline early pregnancy

I tested positive on Monday. However, I was prescribed Doxycycline. I don't know when I ovulate but I probably had the course after I conceived. Im worried about it now and hadn't thought but have read it shouldn't be taken in pregnancy. Should I speak to my gp?

Hi were you okay in the end? I'm in a similar situation.

@Milliegirl25 yes everything was fine my baby was born last month and he's perfect.

I did speak to the GP who just said we'd have to wait until the scans to check everything is OK. She didn't offer to do anything else.

I also spoke to the midwife who said the same thing. But was more reassuring and said there's no point worrying and it's quite a common thing to happen.
