Covid and 5 weeks pregnant

On Friday I got my BFP, after 5 rounds of ICSI, a previous MMC. Delighted is an understatement, it’s taken 4 years to get here.
yesterday I then tested positive for covid - I am so worried about what this will mean, I can’t believe how bad this timing is - I would say my symptoms are mild with sore throat and just feeling generally unwell and I am fully vaccinated.
has this happened with anyone else was everything ok?

Hey! Firstly, congratulations - what wonderful news :) I got covid for the second time when I was 12/13 weeks pregnant - i spoke to the midwife and essentially it was carry on as normal as if you had a normal cold. Nothing can be done - just look after yourself x

Congratulations! Agree, if symptoms are like a cold, treat as a cold. Hope you shake it off soon.

DIL had Covid in early pregnancy. Worried as had had miscarriage with previous pregnancy, my granddaughter is now a beautiful, healthy baby.... Try not to worry.

I had covid 3 times when I was pregnant all quite mild cases baby's absolutely fine and nearly 10mo midwife says to take paracetamol for any pain - not ibuprofen. And tbh midwives didn't even seem too concerned so I didn't stress it either

Good luck with your pregnancy 🍀
