I'm 36+4 - can I use clary sage oil now in a bath?

No

Clary sage is contra-indicated in pregnancy and not be used until you are in established strong labour

I used it from 38 weeks in the bath and in oil burners. Went it to labour at 41 weeks and had it burning all the way through - 6 hour labour from start to finish! (Not sure if the clary sage had anything to do with it though).

I’m not sure what the real medical advice is but I was practically snorting the stuff at 41 weeks and still had to be induced at 42 😅

I used it from 38 weeks, in the bath, massaged on bump and sniffing it like a drug addict 😂 it did absolutely nothing for me, had baby 40+2

I used it from 38 weeks, didn't do a bit of good and I still had to be induced at 42+3.

It's definitely an old wives tale, I had a bath with it in (I called the midwife and she said it's fine) and absolutely nothing lol! Xx
