Movements low in pelvis 36 weeks

Hello

Is it normal to feel little squirms or movements very low in your pelvis at 35/36 weeks if baby is head down? I definitely wouldn’t call them kicks but I have an anterior high placenta and I very rarely feel anything that I would describe without hesitation as a kick. I’m wondering if these little movements could be normal though or if they are more likely to be feet.

Totally normal, sure the baby is low in the pelvis by then. Probably arms and head movement, everything isn't just kicks.

I’m 36 weeks too and I’ve had this for a few weeks. I had to have a third trimester ultrasound a few weeks ago and the sonographer commented on how low he was. I think it’s just the baby moving his head or trying to put his hands up to his face.

Well that’s reassuring. It’s confusing me so much trying to guess where the baby is lying. I can’t seem to find their head anymore!! Last time I could it was breech but now I’m really hoping it’s flipped because where the lump that was head is there’s now a lump that seems very connected to a back 🤔

I've had a midwife appointment today (will be 35 weeks on Tuesday) I commented on feeling movements/pressure very low down, she felt baby and said his head was in my pelvis and 4/5ths engaged which is why I can feel the movements so low down now. I was surprised how much movement there could be from the head.

I’m 36 weeks and my baby is head down although slightly off centre and not engaged according to the midwife. I feel some fluttery movements down there which I’m assuming are little hands. They had a hand down in front of their face when I last had a scan a couple of weeks ago.

Mines free of pelvis which means she dips in and out and moves around
pain is bad and lightening stabs when she moves
also feel finger scratches probably when her hands are touching her face. Walking is quite painful if she bobs in and out
my third baby and apprently normal for them not to be enagaged until contra tions start 37 weeks now

Thank you all, that does all sound familiar. I just pray I’m feeling tiny hands etc as you’re saying and not feet. As I said I don’t feel anything down low that I am sure is a kick but I think at 35 weeks maybe I wouldn’t anyway so I’m really trying not to worry that little one is still breech. At the same time I'm doing all I can to help them get in a good position and to try to prepare myself for the possibility of a c section (my hospital won’t really support vaginal birth if baby is breech). It’s such a curve ball for a ftm at this stage in pregnancy having spent so much time prepared myself for labour.

I really appreciate all of you sharing, it’s so helpful hearing what other felt.
