I will be about 10/11 weeks on my wedding day (I’m about 8 now) and I’m really struggling with fatigue. I’m so worried that I’ll struggle to make it through the day. Does anyone have any tips that I can try leading up to and on the day to help minimise pregnancy symptoms?

No specific tips but I would imagine that the excitement and adrenaline on the day will keep you going! Also, fingers crossed your fatigue might be improving a bit by then.

Weddings are tiring anyway - I flagged at mine after the ceremony/photos and waiting for lunch. Hubby and I took a few minutes to just sit down and relax a bit - I had a good chat with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. So I would advise, look for moments where you can rest and soak the day in a bit - don't be on the go the whole time.

Maybe have some mints or something you could suck on if you feel a bit nauseous or spaced out at any point. See if there is a quiet spot you could pop for a breath of fresh air or just a couple of minutes headspace.

I hope you have a wonderful day! Congratulations!

I was 10 weeks for my wedding reception last year. I felt nauseous on and off all day and ended up having a 2 hour nap in the evening then going to bed at about 10:30/11 because I was just so tired. It was a lovely day but this is a very much wanted pregnancy so I knew it would be worth it despite not being on top form. Most people knew I was pregnant so I suppose that made it easier.

I find lucozade good for perking me up (15weeks). It has caffeine and sugar in but not in unsafe levels (just don't drink lots of bottles, stick to one!)
I'd keep it in some oyt of the way but easy to grab places and just have a swig or two if you feel yourself flagging.

I was about 9 weeks for our wedding back in 2017 and I worried SO much about how I was going to manage. Turns out the adrenaline and distractions of the day really helped and it was probably the best if felt for ages 😂. I was wiped out for like two days after though but I’m not sure I wouldn’t have been even not pregnant so bad to say. What I can say is that being early pregnant on your wedding day is hands down easier than being early pregnant with three small kids at home all with a sickness bug 😂
