Empty sac 6 weeks ?

Hey ladies , so by my dates I am 6 weeks 5 days
I had an early scan due to some pain 3 days ago which shown a 3mm sac , which apparently resembles a 3-4 week sac.
today I had another scan and it shown a slightly bigger sac at 6mm in just 3 days . Although still measures 3-4 weeks . No yolk sac or nothing .
how is this possible ? I’ve been testing positive for nearly 2 weeks now , surely I should be over the 5 week mark? I have another scan in 12 days , should hopefully see more . Anyone shed some light ? This is very mentally draining .

@Tokoro understandable you’re worried but the fact that there is growth is a positive and 6 days isn’t that behind regardless of ivf. I was constantly measuring 2/3 weeks behind even though I was certain on dates . I had to be induced at 37 weeks as she was small and hardly growing but she’s fine now ! She will be fine , it’s good they’re keeping a close eye x

Thank you for your post. My daughter had a 6 week 6 day scan today. A week after her last one where nothing seemed hopeful. Today everything was seen. Fetal pole and heartbeat and yolk etc all good. The only thing is she is measuring 6 week pregnant not 6 week 6 days and scan is saying she is 6 days. Therefore smaller than dates and dates are accurate because it’s ivf so we know. This seems worrying. All they said is just have another scan in 3 weeks and monitor

She is now 13 weeks pregnant. And all the tests show fetus is health and is growing very well. We are thrilled. Due august 3. So what we had thought was a non viable pregnancy turned out to be wrong. We are super happy. .

I need advice I think by my dates is 6w2d went for scan this week due to light bleeding. The sac was healthy but empty and they told me to prepare for a MC as I may not be having a viable pregnancy which was so upsetting. I have to go back in two weeks. I am hoping everything ok but has anyone has this happened and it turned out good or did they get the bad news? I am freaking out

They could not find a fetal pole at my daughter’s scan at 6weeks. However a week later they saw a little flicker which they assumed was the heart beat. A week after that it was confirmed it was the embryo but she still had to get more scans to make sure it was growing normally and now she is 15 weeks and everything is great. X
