I booked a wax to make sure tidy down there but now thinking it could introduce GBS (from contact with another person) if it wasn't there already? Is this a risk?

General advice is not to wax or shave before birth because of the risk of infection. There’s lots more infections than group b strep that could cause problems during or post birth so I wouldn’t risk it.

Midwives really don’t care if you are ‘tidy’ but if you are bothered you could always trim with clean scissors?
