Pregnancy after placenta previa with PPH

Hello all
I am posting because I am currently 23 weeks pregnancy and so far, I am enjoying a lovely uncomplicated second pregnancy. The only problem seems to be my unprocessed birth trauma from last time.

My first pregnancy was complicated by a full placenta previa which completely covered my cervix and never moved. My waters broke whilst my daughter was lying transverse and triggered my emergency CS. We always knew I would need a CS and I was admitted in hospital from 36 weeks so that I could be in the best place in the event of a major bleed. I suffered a 2L blood loss during my surgery and although I physically recovered ok, I found it very traumatic to experience.

This time around, I am so scared of another Hemorrhage. I know it’s unlikely because I don’t have placenta previa this time but I am now facing an irrational fear of birth and blood loss. I had a consultant appointment and they are pushing for VBAC because my CS was just due to the previa which I don’t have this time around. To anyone who has had a pregnancy after placenta previa or anyone who has had a VBAC, was there much blood loss and did you have a better experience?

I didn’t realise how much the first birth has affected my mental health until now.
