Currently 37 weeks tomorrow and have an appointment booked with a consultant for Friday as baby is still breech following my scan today, will have to make the decision if to go ahead with the ECV or not.

Anyone else had one and would do it again or avoid entirely?

Opinions much appreciated!

Hi @Tiger96 I had the ECV with my daughter, I felt i was pushed in to having it and it was a lot more painful than I expected to be honest. I had two doctors trying at the same time and I had to have gas and air. She did move but moved straight back within minutes. I went on to book a c section which was fine.

It depends how much you want a normal birth? If you have your heart set on it then it's worth a shot. Personally I wouldn't opt for one in the future.

All the best
