5 weeks pregnant and spasms in stomach

I'm 5+1 and over the last couple of days I've been experiencing weird spasms on the lower left side of my stomach. Feels like hard baby kicks or a heartbeat. I can actually see my stomach moving when it happens. It comes and goes. I'm also getting the occasional left shoulder pain which radiates from my neck. I didnt get this in my first pregnancy so I'm panicking a bit. Is this normal? I have an early scan booked next week but should I change the appointment? I don't know if they'll be able to see anything this early.

I often have like a pulse in my stomach when pregnant. You can see it move it is like a heart beat or pulse, I’ve always assumed it’s down to the extra blood flow. I don’t have it on any particular side though and never have any pain.

They won’t be able to see much this early but I would definitely ring Epu and mention the shoulder paid and spasm in one side. It might be nothing but far better to speak to a medical professional

I'm 5+4. I've been getting horrific cramping, to the point I've been on the floor, crying out in pain.

I went to a&e under the advice of a Dr on Sunday, they booked me for a scan yesterday.

They were able to see a heart beat, which I saw on the screen. But it turns out, both my ovaries had ovulated and the left one has a cyst on it.
Baby is fine but just having a party with my ovaries.

Its worthwhile getting checked out with anything like that.

I really don't want to cause potentially unnecessary panic but isn't shoulder pain one of the main signs of an ectopic pregnancy? I would try and see EPU ASAP and good luck
