Urge to pee but can’t

For some reason my body is telling me I need to pee when I have no pee left inside me if that makes sense, this only happened twice last night and tonight and it has only happened at night before bed, for example I just peed before getting into bed, but as I got in bed I felt the urge to pee again so I went back to the toilet and only a few drops came out, when I stood up I felt like I needed to pee again so I sat back down and this time nothing came out because there must be no pee left so why am I still feeling the urge to pee it’s so bizarre, I’m laying in bed now and still have the slight urge to pee? I’m 29 weeks pregnant

It’s likely to be pressure on your bladder from the baby, but I’d mention it to midwives as they may want to check for infection

I had this from around 24wks as baby was already engaged, it drove me absolutely potty so you have my sympathy!

I'm only 25 weeks & I feel like I've had this for ages!! Not all the time but on and off. Defo not an infection. I just figured it's when baby is tap dancing on my bladder 😅

I've also had this, although more when my bladder is full and I just can't go. My doc took it seriously and I even went to triage. They need to check for infection as untreated UTIs can be serious in pregnancy. They never worked out what was causing it but it cleared up and I suspect it was just baby's position but it is definitely worth getting checked.
