Accidentally taken aspirin

Has anyone ever taken a aspirin whilst pregnant and then realised it wasn't recommended?

I took one dose and then realised it was too much at 2 x 300mg tablets.

I don't think it should cause problem, I would check with doctor or pharmacy just in case though because of dosage. I have to take 150mg daily from 12 weeks.

I’m also taking it daily to ward against high blood pressure on midwife’s advice, I wouldn’t worry about it.

What dose are you on? I'm supposed to only take 150mg

@Moni81 thank you, me too. I just hope I didn't have too much. Will ask dr

@twinzmama yes, 150mg a day. How far along are you? Hopefully your doctor or midwife can provide some reassurance - I'm sure a one off won't make any difference in the grand scheme of things.

@BackOfTheMum5net 13 weeks. Gp friend said I should carry on as normal as they have advised that high a dose for some cases in early pregnancy 😊
It shouldn't have made a difference realistically as a one off.
