Help! Can’t work out when I need to take a pregnancy test

Hello! We are currently trying to conceive. So on Sunday 29th Jan I had a bit of blood when I wiped then it was just brown spitting (only on tissue nothing in knickers) until weds 1st feb when AF came full on.
when do I count as first day of AF? Google says wait until it’s in full swing.

I took a CB digital ov test Sunday 12th feb and got static smiley. Not sure if my 2 best days were sat/sun or sun/mon.
I’ve been having symptoms but I know they can be so similar to pms.
not sure if my period is due tomorrow (28 days from spotting) or this Wednesday which is 28 days from full AF starting.
sorry for such a long post. Just need to help working it out. Don’t want to test early and be disheartened with a neg result.

I’d count 1st feb as the start of af. If you got a static on the Sunday I’d say Sunday/Monday were your best days.

@Twoinapod thank you. It was my first time doing an ov test and came up static straight the way which is why I’m not sure if I maybe would have got a static the day before.
going to hold out until weds to test. Hoping AF doesn’t arrive x
