I found out I'm pregnant last week with our first child after TTC (yay!) and we are both super happy.
Here's the thing - I'm a british 35yo currently living in Germany. One of the reasons we moved here was down to the great maternity and paternity benefits offered here, but since moving in Aug 2022 I just haven't been enjoying it here and I've been dreaming of a home in sunnier climes - Mallorca specifically. I feel like the sun, the lifestyle, the expat life could be a way nicer way to raise our new family. However, it would mean uprooting everything - leaving both our jobs behind, and while me being pregnant, at that! Leaving all the stable benefits behind for the unknown, but would it be worth it for a slower, healthier pace of life? Curious what you think! Anyone been in a similar position?! X
