7 weeks pregnant still no symptoms?

Hey all, it’s my first pregnancy, I had a early scan at 6 weeks and was measuring over 5 weeks and saw a heartbeat, they seemed positive about it but obviously say this is a good sign but anything can happen.

Im now 7 weeks 2 days pregnant and I still have no symptoms and have never felt so normal so can’t help but think I’m having a missed miscarriage? Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m so anxious and I’m ruining the experience for myself. But I can’t help but think I’m not bloated, I’m not tired, no sore boobs, not nauseous, I’ve felt worse during a period :(

Some people just don't get symptoms. With my first i had none until the third trimester. With this one the reason I took a test was that my boobs were very tender one morning.

Try not to worry too much.

Hey @aww2023 I’m 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my first pregnancy and all I’ve had is fatigue & at 8 weeks major hunger, but only for the week!! & even the tiredness isn’t major.

I was waiting eagerly for symptoms to kick in every day between 5-7 weeks and then was convinced something was wrong because I had nothing! Try and stay positive and take it as a win.

I had a few private scans for reassurance so maybe look at getting another one around the 8-9 week mark!

Xxx

@Jhun11 Thanks so much for reassurance. I have another scan booked for 9 weeks but I’m just petrified I’ll have bad news due to lack of symptoms, I’ve literally never felt so normal. It’s so horrible having anxiety like this! X

@aww2023 I totally understand! I kept saying to my mum I was desperate for morning sickness and she couldn’t understand why, but I felt like it would give some reassurance!!

I loved early scans - feel like they give you reassurance for 24 hours then you go back to worrying 🙈 It’s completely normal to feel anxious about it all though! Easier said than done but try to stay calm and positive 💛

Its only now I’m starting to appreciate feeling so good throughout so I’m sure you’ll look back and do the same!! Xxx

@aww2023 I had no symptoms throughout my pregnancy, in fact I think I felt better than I usually would! Just had some PGP from 20 weeks and struggled to sleep in the third trimester. It’s hard not to feel anxious but try and enjoy :)

Hey! I hope you don't mind me asking (I'm scrolling Mumsnet for the same reason as this thread) and I wondered how you got on? 🧡

Lindamac1993 · 06/01/2024 22:39

@BellaRuby06 sorry to jump on your comment but also in the same boat at the moment!
What concerns are you having?

BellaRuby06 · 06/01/2024 23:28

@Lindamac1993 hi! Not sure if they're concerns really, I'm 6 weeks pregnant and not got many (if any!) Symptoms so I've just been scrolling to see if other people have experienced the same and gone on to have a successful pregnancy (after a long scroll I'm feeling pretty optimistic!). I had a MMC in October so I think I'm a bit more anxious this time. How are you?

Longbarn5 · 07/01/2024 17:14

I had an MMC last year and had every symptom possible in good measure so I am of the view that all symptoms or no symptoms or anything in between isnt a good measure of a healthy pregnancy or not. Just a horrible case of wait and hope for all I think. Xxx

JAH90 · 14/01/2024 16:34

Hi! Just jumping on here. I'm about 7 weeks and no symptoms either except for low energy. Reassuring to hear I'm not alone

Lindamac1993 · 14/01/2024 19:40

Hi, I went for an early reassurance scan and unfortunately for me it wasn't the news I was hoping for. Baby was measuring small and no heartbeat. But a lot of people I have spoke to had no symptoms and still went on to have a successful pregnancy so don't be alarmed. But I would encourage anyone who is anxious to contact epu and ask for early scan for piece of mind! Good luck everyone 🩷

43ontherocksporfavor · 14/01/2024 19:43

I had no symptoms with either. No sickness. I worried too. Slightly larger nipples if anything! I take it you e missed a period? That’s the main symptom and not forgetting you’ve actually got another heart beating inside you!! They’re young adults now and both were healthy pregnancies and births.

Mummy2823 · 14/01/2024 19:43

@aww2023 I'm currently 9 weeks with my 2nd and barely any symptoms.
Last pregnancy I was sick from week 1 so was expecting the same this time around.
Unfortunately, until you feel baby movements at around 20 weeks it's a very anxious time!

user1471517095 · 14/01/2024 19:46

I didn't have any symptoms, no morning sickness, no nothing. Some people are just lucky I guess.😉

aww2023 · 14/01/2024 20:09

@BellaRuby06 Hey! Wow this is a throwback, I completely forgot I wrote this post. I didn’t have any symptoms at all, I had a really easy pregnancy if I’m honest, didn’t really get any symptoms! I’m now sat here in bed with my 3 month old son rocking him to sleep, I want to say try not to worry but I know what it’s like in those moments, I spent my whole pregnancy worried and I wish I sat and enjoyed it more. We can’t control what happens so try stay positive and I’m sure you will be holding your baby in your arms soon. Sending love x
