How long to be contacted after self-referral?

Hi all, I filled out the self-referral online form at my nearby maternity hospital a week ago and haven't heard back yet. They say they'll contact between 5-10 business days so still within reasonable. But curious to know how long it took for people to hear back and how? Phone call, letter? Its my first pregnancy so a bit clueless on hkw it all works.

I'm currently 5 weeks and my hospital is West Middlesex, part of the Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust.

@LaVitesse2022 I'm with C&W and it was a quick ish - can't remember how they got in touch. Maybe a letter with an initial midwife appt for around 9 weeks. You're still super early so I wouldn't worry. They'll get back to you. I'm 39 weeks and the care has been truly excellent thus far.

As you’re only 5 weeks I wouldn’t worry quite yet. Booking in appointment is anytime from 8-10 weeks usually so if you haven’t heard in the next couple weeks worth chasing

I waited 4 weeks and was never contacted. In the end I called GP and they booked my booking appointment there and then.

An update: received my online letter today, 10 days after self-referral, for initial appointment at 10 weeks :)
