If you got a squinter when did you tell DP?

11dpo today and got a squinter on cheapie but definitely has colour and came up in the time.

Period due today - Monday (28-30 day cycle)

I'm off out for an FRER but I'm so nervous to tell him incase it turns out to be a chemical! He'll be devastated. I know I shouldn't have tested today but was going for quite a tough gym session and wanted to know if I should take it a bit easier just in case.

@Parkopedia i told mine at 9dpo because I couldn’t of kept it from him! I see lots of people say they keep it to themselves until after missed period tho xxx

When I had implantation bleeding, so around 10dpo.

A chemical can happen up to 6 weeks. I’ve had 2 which were both between 5-6 weeks so after my AF was due (26-27 days cycles mostly). We were both devastated but you shouldn’t have to go through it alone if it was to happen. I don’t think you would want to keep it from him until 6 weeks just in case it’s a chemical.

I didn’t test until day after AF was due (14dpo as AF always comes 13dpo) and told him right away both of the chemicals.

then with this one I didn’t test until 14dpo again but I knew I was pregnant before and told him that I think I was as I hadn’t had any of my normal pre AF spotting which always happens 3-4 days before AF. I had a bit of spotting with both chemicals but none this time and my tests were a lot darker and carried on getting darker

I told my other half straight away. I’ve had 2 CP’s and I couldn’t have coped without his support, he would have know something was wrong even if I hadn’t told him.

Thanks all - I have one more frer so I think I'll do that tomorrow morning and then tell him :)

He's at work on a late shift now so if I tell him when he gets back neither of us will sleep!
