Up late stressing- brown spotting 6.5 weeks

Hi,
Looking for reassurance I think. 6 weeks 4 days ish pregnant, symptoms still strong but had brown spotting when I wiped this evening. Had mild cramping last few days but nothing worrying, now I’m so panicked I can’t tell if my tummy feels crap because something bad is happening or if I’m just ill with anxiety.

hopimg I can get to a hospital tomorrow, is this a thing? Can they scan on the day at an EPU? Had a snotty woman on the phone at my local hospital who told me to go to A&E or call 111, I have midwife friends who have told me it’s probably fine but I’m just up worrying :(

I had this with my pregnancy and everything was fine OP. Here I had to be referred for a scan at the EPU and that took about 3 days. Good luck, hope all is well

I had this with my second pregnancy and all was fine; the midwife told me to just wait and see which I wasn’t capable of doing and the GP sent me for a same day scan at EPU. Otherwise I’d have had a private scan as I didn’t want to wait weeks for my 12 week scan worrying

@Lkydfju Oooo did you just call your Gp and they told you what hospital to go to? I’m hoping they can do that tomorrow maybe, rather than me just calling the EPU as ag least GP knows I’m pregnant😅

i made an urgent appointment with the GP and they referred me from there; I have a feeling the midwife suggested trying it in case they could do a referral

I had the same, mine did have a pink tinge to it also so I was extremely worrying.
We were IVF so I called my clinic and they said as long as it stayed that way currently to keep an eye and we'd go ahead with my 7 week scan as planned.
The bleeding only lasted a day, maybe less thankfully and all was okay at scan. That pregnancy is now my 1 year old dd :)

Thank you for the reassuring messages! Had just the bit when I wiped last night, nothing since…until 5 mins ago, only very slightly tinged light brown when I wipe again. 😞 Booked in for a scan on Thursday morning so will be able to post an update! Hoping very much for the best

Just an update as I drove myself mad reading these threads and then hating ones left without resolution- had scan on Thursday, measuring at approx 6weeks 2 days 4.5mm and with a strong heartbeat! The anxiety was horrendous and I think contributing to the abdominal cramping in the days running up to it. Thank you for the comments!
