Painful sex 😒

I’m 6 months pregnant and sex has become so painful. Like I’m being stabbed and it stings 😳.

I don’t really know what to do, other than obviously stop having it.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any tips? (different position don’t seem to make a difference).
I’m seeing the midwife next week and thought about mentioning it to her but at the same time I feel a bit stupid as it’s not really a health concern for me or the baby and I’m guessing she can’t do anything anyway.

I think definitely a good idea to speak with your midwife and get some advice. Hopefully your midwife can rule in or out things like urinary tract infection/thrush. The only thing I can think of that you could try is a lubricant in case you’re dryer in pregnancy. Good luck!
