Gestational diabetes in second pregnancy

Hi all. I recently found out I am pregnant again and in my last pregnancy I developed GD (which I was able to manage just with diet).

I've been told I'll be tested at 16 weeks this time and my gyno recommended to do at least 30 mins exercise per day in a hope to at least delay its onset until 26 weeks. Has anyone had any luck in doing this? Or can recommend anything else that could help? I know that GD isn't caused by diet, but if I am a little cautious maybe it could help? I’d be gutted to completely change my diet now to be GD friendly and develop it anyway! It was so tough last time.

I’m in the middle of suffering with morning sickness (more like all day sickness Sad)so the last thing I feel like is exercising and eating less white carbs!

Any advice would be great!
