No weight gain from week 18 - 19?

Hi everyone, I am pregnant for the first time and have been well so far and pretty 'textbook'. I didn't really gain any weight in the first trimester but in the second have been steadily gaining about 1.5lbs a week.

I have weighed myself today (19 weeks) and I weigh the same, or a tiny bit less than I did last week.

Is it normal for weight gain to come in bursts or should I be worried that the baby has stopped growing?

It probably seems small but I can't seem to stop thinking about it. Do I need to tell someone?

Thanks in advance

I wouldn’t panic but if you’re worried about then let your midwife know, I’m sure they will be able to check that baby is ok or put your mind at ease. :)

With both my first two pregnancies I put on the most weight in my first trimester and then it plateaud for a while until maybe 24 weeks! Bump definitely was growing though!

I wouldn't worry too much. Bloat and fluid can constantly be up and down. I've found my weight gain certainly isn't linear. I've stopped now.

I have had 2 kids and only gained 14lb overall both times. Didn't gain a bean till about 6 months.
