20 week scan - growth scan at 23 weeks?

I had my 20 week scan on Saturday, all seemed to go ok and the report was no follow up required. I have just had a foetal growth appointment come through the post for 23 weeks. Any idea why? (Have left message with my midwife). My measurements as follows -

Head circumference 172.5mm
Posterior ventricle 6mm

TCD 19.8mm
Nuchal fold thickness 3mm

Abdominal circumference 142.3mm
Femur length 30.7mm

estimated weight 300g.

Anything that looks a little off for 20 weeks? Forever worrying!

Hi! I had my 20 week scan last week and your baby's measurements are very similar to mine and they told me on the day how everything looked perfect. So upon initial comparison I'd say your numbers look equally good. I wouldn't worry at this point and try and get hold of your midwife in the next few days. Might be a simple mistake. Are there any other concerns they have had previously regarding blood markers? I was told after my 12 week scan that I have low PAPP-A so am scheduled for extra growth scans from 28 weeks onwards.

Hi. Ladies with a BMI 40 or above have growth scans as opposed to midwife checking growth by measuring bump. Could it be this? However I think these start at 28 weeks… I can’t remember now. You could call the ultrasound department and ask who has requested the scan.

I had this. Went to the appointment and they said that they don’t know why I had it as I was absolutely fine. They said as I was there we might as well have a look at baby so I got to see her again. Just call and ask, it could be that they’ve got you mixed up with someone else

I am having them due to a low birth weight baby last time. She weighed just over 4lbs so this time round they do it just to keep an eye and make sure the growing is not stopping
