Back pain - end of second trimester

Honestly, how do people cope? Aside from the back pain I feel really good in myself.

But I can't sit down, stand up or lie down for more than 5 minutes without pain. It's affecting my work.

I've spoken to my midwife and been referred for physio so waiting on that but I also have diastasis recti which isn't helpful 🥺

Is this what it's like until the end or are there ways of managing it?

Go to an osteopath, or private physio?

Sorry you are struggling with back pain.

I think back pain is one of those things where there are usually things that you can do about it within your control, even if just to ease it a little bit.

You probably do need to see a physio ideally to make sure you're exercising safely with your pregnancy and your condition.

But are there maybe some light yoga/ pilates type exercises you could do that don't put too much strain on you? Try youtube and search gentle back stretches/ strengthening?

I think with most types of back pain, the more movement/ stretching you can do, the better, as long as it's not adding to the strain.
