Hey lovelies,

My little overthinking mind has been on overdrive the past few week since I’ve found out I’m pregnant.

I work full time, and my work occasionally consists of travel to other countries. It’s never been an issue before until I have just returned from a trip, where I experienced several delays, a lot of standing, a very long day, many anxieties and strolling through my door at 11:30pm after a 7am start.

I’m too early to tell my boss, and really wanted to wait until my first early scan.

I have a fear I’m going to be asked to go away again, but my anxiety through this first trimester is high, and when I’m travelling alone, I’m isolated more than ever.

Any advice?

Thank you x

Your GP can write a fit note for amended duties for anxiety. They don’t need to mention your pregnancy.

You'll also need to consider zika risk if you frequently travel abroad to places with zika.
