I just got my measurements done for baby, the scan page showed the measurements and in the top corner says female. I presumed this was for me but my husband thinks it's the sex of the baby. We didn't want to find out and I'm sure it wouldn't be printed on it but would anyone know?

Did it have your name and date of birth in those other black boxes next to it? If so I would assume it is your sex

EDSH · 20/01/2023 09:55

No it didn't everything else was blank but I did still presume it was my sex rather than baby.

You are the patient and the details at the top eg Chi, name etc would be yours. So I would say it refers to your sex.

Emmamoo89 · 20/01/2023 10:37

It's referring to you not your baby

Cuppasoupmonster · 20/01/2023 10:40

Yep definitely referring to you, it’s next to all your other details even if not filled in.

DestinysGrandchild · 20/01/2023 10:42

Your details at the top. Baby's information underneath.

Lumosmaximos · 20/01/2023 10:46

I have exact same looking screen from my Window to the Womb scan, and it says female for me there too, and our baby is a boy, so it is about you, not the baby :)

HaPPy8 · 20/01/2023 10:51

100% you

overwork · 20/01/2023 11:06

It's your sex. There's no need to record the baby's sex at any point unless asked, but particularly not on details inputted onto the ultrasound machine.

EDSH · 20/01/2023 16:56

Thank you that's what I thought!
