Pregnant even though on period?

Hi is it possible to be pregnant even while having a normal period? I am 36 and have had a normal period since Monday, usual heavy enough amounts of blood with the normal cramps and whatnot, but my breasts have been very tender for a few weeks now, and both last week and this week when I squeezed my nipples I was able to express what looks like proper gold coloured colostrum, so I did a pregnancy test today just in case and it came up positive saying I am about 1-2 weeks along. I am going to try and get booked in with my doctor as soon as possible, but I am concerned that I am still currently having a normal period and I feel it is very early for me to be able to express milk, so I am concerned that it may be a false positive and that there is something else going on, and so I was hoping that someone else may have has the same or a similar experience and be able to help me at all? My daughter is 4 years old and I am not sure if I want to have another child, but that is a whole other kettle of fish, right now I just want to figure out if I am pregnant or if I should be concerned about some other hormonal issue that it could possibly be, so any insights anyone may have would be greatly appreciated as I am not able to find any answers online!

It could be a miscarriage, OP which could seem like period and l'm 100% sure but might show as positive on a pregnancy test if you still have HCG.

Both my DDs were conceived during periods.

Hi, were you pregnant? @LG311

Update - so I went to my doctor where they did a test and it came up positive, so he sent me to the early pregnancy unit at the hospital to be checked, but when I got there the next day they did another test and it came up negative, so they reckon it must have been an early miscarriage, although they couldn't give any explanation as to why I was lactating. I can still get milk out if I squeeze my breasts especially from the left one, so I am going to have to go back to the doctor to get my hormone levels checked, as it has been going on for 2 months now
